How To: Do a perfect facial at home

Hi all,

Being a mom has made me so busy that I often do not get enough time for a salon visit. So it drove me to learn how to do a basic facial at home to keep my skin fresh and glowing. To do an effective facial at home, you will need the following products:

o Regular bleach cream
o Massage cream
o Facial scrub
o Mask cream
o Cleansing milk
o Toner

Step-by-Step Process:

1) We start off by prepping the skin for a facial by using cleansing milk. Apply a little cleansing milk on a cotton swab and rub on face and neck. This will wipe away any impurities, dust or oil present on the skin.

2) Apply your regular bleach for fifteen to twenty minutes, or as described by the manufacturer on the product package. Cleanse the face off the bleach thoroughly and let it rest for five minutes.

3) Now, take a little amount of massage cream in your palms. Mix the massage cream with a little water to get a smooth consistency and massage your face and neck. Massage increases circulation, leading to brighter, healthier skin. Use your forefinger and middle finger to massage your face in a gentle circular motion. During the process, push the skin upwards to prevent wrinkles. Massage softly for best results.

4) Use a facial scrub with fine granules to ease off any dead skin. The process is same as with the massane cream. Take a little product on your palm and massage your face and neck for some time. Rinse off.

5) Now put some peel off/rinse off mask by applying it evenly on your face. Let it dry for ten to fifteen minutes or untill it dries completely. If it is a peel off mask, it will make a film like cover on the face that is meant to be peeled off like a peel, in upward direction. A rinse off mask has to be washed away using water. The mask will add up the glow further and help tighten the skin.

6) Now using a cotton swab, apply toner to face and neck.

The simple, DIY facial is done. It keeps skin fresh and gives amazing results.
